Over 95,500 Emails Sent To Legislators!
As the 2024 legislative session comes to a close, we are overwhelmed with the support that the Washington community showed for consumer protections in our state. Over 31,800 Washingtonians sent letters to their legislators asking them to put consumer protections first. And with that volume, legislators could not ignore the issue.
Over 95,500 emails went to legislators’ offices, sparking a conversation across the state about protecting consumers when they buy gift cards.

Washington Community Action Network. Gig economy corporations like DoorDash, UberEats, and Instacart continue to price gouge consumers and leech money from our local economy, all while making record profits. They have steeply raised fees on customers while fighting against new laws guaranteeing Seattle gig workers minimum wage. Balance Our Tax Code. is a coalition of more than 80 labor unions, non-profits, affordable housing and human service providers, and activists working to create a tax code that supports a way of life that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few.
